Some Meet Changes

Just to inform everyone our meet vs West Ottawa was rescheduled to October 19th and we added a meet to our schedule... we will be swimming Catholic Central at the downtown Y October 2 at 11 AM.

Team BBQ at Coach's Casa

All swimmers & divers are invited to coach Becky's house in Jenison, MI this THURSDAY from 6:30-9:00PM. Rides will meet at Calvin College parking lot, maps will be distributed at practice.

Freshmen please bring a dessert to pass (like cookies, brownies, etc)
Sophomores please bring something to drink (lemonade, iced tea, water, etc)
Juniors please bring chips/munchies to pass
Seniors (all 2 of you) please bring paper cups and plates

Coach Becky will provide the meat/condiments and the puppy :)

Team Pictures and Parent Meeting

Well the 1st 3 days have gone great! The girls have practiced very hard and I know this will be an amazing season. Couple of things

1) Team Pictures are this upcoming Tuesday (August 17) @ 8:00AM SHARP! Please wear jeans and a black top. We will car pool after-wards to the pool for our practice (Don't be Late or you won't be in the picture)

2) Parent-Coaches Meeting will be held Tuesday (August 17) at 5:15PM at Grand Rapids Christian High School. This is an important time for coaches to communicate what to expect for the season and also what areas need to be filled with parent volunteers :)

Calling All FRESHMEN!

If you are an incoming freshmen swimmer or diver you are invited to meet the captains over ice cream at Jersey Junction. They will be meeting there at 7pm on Tuesday night (tomorrow :). Please contact Adrienne Veenstra (look on team contact info spread sheet) for more details!

Slight Change...

Unfortunately Calvin College has informed us that the pool will be shut down this week until Thursday (August 12), thus we will actually be starting off our season at Ottawa Hill's pool both Wednesday and Thursday. Our practice times also had to change, for those two days we will be going from 11:30-2:30pm. I am sorry if this causes big inconveniences, these are the cards we sometimes have to deal with when not using our own pool :) Thanks for being flexible, see you all soon!
