URGENT: Concessions Opportunity for Sat-30-Oct
The athletic league of the Christian Middle School is hosting a basketball tournament this week Saturday and is looking for someone to take care of concessions for the day. They have asked the girls basketball team already, and they declined. They asked us second because we are taking care of the swim meet in two weeks. If there is anyone interested in helping out with this PLEASE EMAIL ME TODAY. (jennschroder@gmail.com) I have to give them an answer ASAP. I think this would be a great addition for our team fund raising, but I need to have some commitment from others to help. The girls cannot help until after practice. Time would be anywhere between 9-2.

Pool Entrance for Tuesday Night's Meet
The west-facing doors of the Calvin College sports complex will be unlocked for Tuesday night's meet. That means fans will not have to walk all the way around to the main pedestrian entrance on the south side of the complex. Just enter from the west side of the building. Please remind your parents, grandparents and other fans who might be coming to the meet on Tuesday.

Fundraising at the Middle School Meet
The Lady Eagles swim team had been provided with a great fundraising opportunity this year. We will be providing concessions for the middle school swim meet on Saturday, November 13. The meet usually runs from 9-12 at Ottawa Hills High School. Last year, there were up to 500 fans and swimmers in the pool area, providing a great opportunity for us to supply water, drinks and snacks to everyone. The best way for us to raise the money is with donations from families. We can purchase some items, but then we would have much less profit. If every family could provide a few things for us to sell that would be great. We will also need some of the girls to work that morning, either all or part of it. Items that would be great include:
- Baked goods packaged individually
- Bagels
- Fruit
- Water
- Sports drinks (propel, gatorade, Vitamin Water)
- Pop
- Candies ( non melting would be the best, but we will take any)
- Other snacks
